OTN (Optical Transport Network) systems smoothly handle ever-increasing bandwidth demands for data services and also for mobile backhaul, Fronthaul, Inter datacenter connectivity and GPON/EPON extension. Compact OTN systems easily meet the high bandwidth demands of public and private clouds as well as software-defined networks, that require gigabit Ethernet and above. For FTTH and LTE/4G applications, OTN systems allow carriers to save on OPEX and fiber resources when deploying mobile Fronthaul and GPON/EPON.
